Wet Bulb Temperature

• It is the temperature indicated by thermometer which has a wet cloth around the bulb.
• Wet Bulb Temperature (Twb) is usually lower than the dry bulb temperature (Tdb).
• At 100 % RH (Relative Humidity),
➤ Tdb = Twb (This is due to the fact that no water will evaporate at 100% RH)
• Web Bulb Temperature may be calculated by modeling the process as an adiabatic saturation process.
